Some LaTeX Tools
- amsrefs
Control bibliography style through LaTeX rather than partly by a
BibTeX style file and partly through LaTeX. See
http://www.ams.org/tex/amsrefs.html
- \showkeys
Print label, ref, cite and bib keys. Shows these as a reminder while
you are editing the document. [Comment-out as %\showkeys in your final
version.]
see:

\showlabels
- prosper
The document class "prosper" is for making transparencies for talks,
so think of it as an upgrade to SliTeX.
What it gives you is the combination of the nice, colorful, slide designs
and big easy-to-read fonts that Microsoft PowerPoint has, along with the
great mathematical symbol capabilities of LaTeX. It also makes it easy to
have overlays, that is, a few lines appear on the slide, then when you hit
Enter, a few more lines appear on the same slide, etc. It can output an
PDF file of your whole lecture, which you can then transport as a file
to the location of your talk, and give it from your own laptop or from one
that your host supplies. It also uses landscape mode, rather than portrait,
which is usually much better for mathematical talks. See:
