Course Outline  Matrices, vector calculus, higher order differential equations, Laplace transform, systems of linear differential equations, series solutions of linear differential equations.

Text  Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Zill & Cullen 3rd Edition.

Useful Information and Handouts

Homework  Homework is assigned on Friday and due, in my office (slid under the door if closed), the following Friday, by 5:00. No late homework will be accepted. Group work is encouraged, but everyone must write up their homework solutions by themselves. Homework assignments will be posted to Blackboard.

Quizzes  There will be a quiz each week in recitation. There will be no make-up quizzes.

Exams  There will be two midterm exams and a final exam. The midterms are scheduled for Tuesday, October 21st and Tuesday, November 25th. The midterms are administered during a lecture session. The final exam is December 17th from 12 to 2.
