As far as we can see, the only possible defense
one can provide is through questioning the evidence,
that the entrance hole
on the shirt was just a bit over 1 cm, but somehow it was enlarged
when Chen was undressed in the hospital.63Or, perhaps the entrance hole on the jacket or the undershirt was
enlarged inadvertently by the doctors or nurses,
so the estimate of the angular velocity above does not apply.
It is always easy to point to some low-probability event that
might have happened to the evidence.
