Week 2 Material: Chapter 8 - Methods of integration

• Integration by parts
• Integrals to find arc length, areas of surfaces of revolution, averages of various kinds (center of mass etc)

• Chapter 6 -- sections 6.3, 6.4, 6.6
• Chapter 8 -- section 8.1.

1. Reading: Read sections 6.3, 6.4, 6.6 and 8.1
2. More reading: In the Maple/Calculus Lab Manual, read the section of the manual on "int".
3. Textbook assignment: (submit nothing) Make certain you can do the following problems from the textbook:
