The Basics:

I'm a graduate student in mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania. I'm now in my fifth year, pursuing research in low-dimensional topology, contact geometry, knot theory, and differential geometry. I'm working towards my Ph.D. under the supervision of John Etnyre. In the meantime, I also have several ongoing research projects with Herman Gluck, Dennis DeTurck, and Clay Shonkwiler. Here's a copy of my Curriculum Vitae for anyone who's interested.

Research: My interests generally lie in the realm of low-dimensional topology and geometry. I'm particularly interested in contact geometry, knot theory, differential geometry, and how these topics all interact with one another.

Teaching: I'm currently TAing for the brand new Honors Calculus class here at Penn. The course is taught by David Harbater, and is shaping up to be a wonderful course.
