Announcements
- Midterm exam : Monday, June 6th
- The first quiz will be on Thursday, May 19th, during the last 10-15
minutes of lecture. The first quiz will cover the chain rule, computing integrals using u-substitution and 5.1 ( area between curves ).
Course Policies
- Homeworks, quizzes, the midterm exam and the final exam all count towards
the final grade. Homeworks and quizzes count as 15% each, the midterm counts as 30% and the final counts for 40%.
- For the homework, you may work together in small groups of 2 or 3
students, but each student's write-up should be his/her own.
- There will be a quiz each Tuesday and Thursday. No notes, books, calculators, etc. are allowed during quizzes.
- There will be no make-up quizzes but the lowest quiz score will be
dropped. Also, the lowest homework score will be dropped.
- Although the core problems are not to be turned in, you should solve them as part of your preparation for exams.
