Who? What?
I am a fifth year graduate student here at UPenn, chasing down a PhD in math. My interests orbit around number theoretical aspects of hyperbolic space and its quotients, and I'm forming a relationship with PSL2(R) and its discrete subgroups. Of particular, current interest are properties of cusp sets of Fuchsian groups uniformizing once-punctured tori and hyperbolic-geometric interpretations and generalizations of continued fractions and Dedekind sums. I also have some interest in low-dimensional topology, and would like to see some connections between knot theory and (algebraic?) number theory.
