Exam 3 was held on Wed., April 8, and covered Chapters 11 and 12 of
Stewart. The first six problems were each worth two points, and the last
two were each worth three points, for a total of eighteen points possible.
Partial credit was given where appropriate on the last two problems.
Grades may be interpreted as follows:
15-18: very good
12-14: good
9-11: fair
6-8: poor
0-5: unsatisfactory
The class as a whole did very well on the exam. The average score on the
exam was 15.6 and the median score on the exam was 17.
