I am co-organizer
Elizabeth Beazley of Haverford College,
Linda Chen of Swarthmore College,
Jennifer Morse of Drexel University, and
Mark Skandera of Lehigh University) of the
Philadelphia Area Combinatorics and Algebraic Geometry (CAGE) Seminar
seminar (Tuesdays from 2:30-3:30pm in Korman Center 245 at Drexel and/or
Thursdays from 2:30-3:30pm in the DRL MPA Library seminar room at Penn).
CAGE Fall 2013
On Saturday, May 3, 2014, the first annual
Mid-Atlantic Algebraic Geometry and Combinatorics (MAAGC)
workshop wiil be held at Drexel University.
My research interests are in algebraic and enumerative
In particular, I work on problems involving symmetric functions and Macdonald polynomials,
combinatorial statistics and q-analogs,
rook polynomials, and am also interested in the zeros of polynomials and analytic functions.
I like experimental mathematics, and
often use computer algebra packages such as Maple in my research, to develop
and test conjectures.
