- This course will cover linear and nonlinear ordinary differential
equations. Specific topics: solutions of linear equations (exact
solution, and solution by power series), Laplace transform, nonlinear
equations, and stability of linear and nonlinear systems.

- Midterm I: February 5, 1999, in class
- Midterm II: March 19, 1999, in class

- Grading:
- Each midterm: 20 percent
- Final exam: 30 percent
- Homework: 30 percent
