CALCULUS III

We will investigate special tools in the Calculus in higher dimensions, starting with the basic language and methods of linear algebra, then proceeding to multiple integrals and integrals along curves which allows us to state and use the Green, Stokes and Divergence theorems. Finally, we will learn about special functions, and the theory of ordinary differential equations, and the theory of linear differential equations, in particular systems. In fact, differential equations shall occupy us throughout the course, as they present one of the main applications of Calculus to the natural sciences.
