Weekly homework will be posted here (Link)
RulesHomework is due 1 week after assigned. It should be handed in at the beginning of the recitation section. NO LATE HOMEWORK WILL BE ACCEPTED. Homework problems with classmates is encouraged, but you have to write up your own answers. Lowest score will be dropped.
Quizzes
Quizzes will be given at the end of the recitation section, on the material discussed that week in recitation. NO MAKE-UP QUIZZES. Lowest quiz score will be dropped.
Exams
There will be three in-class exams during the semester and a final exam after the end of classes. The final exam will be cumulative. During each exam, students may bring and refer to a single (two-sided) page of handwritten notes, not to exceed 8 1/2 x 11 inches. No calculators or other electronic devices may be used during the exams. To get an idea of the type of problems that will appear on the exams, you may wish to consult the old final exams for Math 104.
- Exam 1: Tentative date: Monday, Feb. 8, in lecture.
- Exam 2: Tentative date: Monday, March 1, in lecture.
- Exam 3: Tentative date: Monday, April 5, in lecture.
- Final exam: Tentative date: Tuesday, May 4, 12-2pm, place TBA.
