General Information for the class:
- Textbook: Elementary Classical Analysis second edition,

J. E. Marsden and M. J. Hoffman

Lecture class meetings are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. We are scheduled to meet in DRLB 4C6.
- You must be enrolled in and attend the lab section.
- My office hours are
Wednesdays 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Fridays 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
in DRLB 4N45 (my office). Please feel free to drop by at other times
and I will be glad to see you if possible or make an appointment. .

Basic Ground Rules:
Final grade based on three parts: Final exam (40%), one midterm exam
(30% ), and everything else (30%). Everything else includes regular
homework, the occasional quiz in recitation, etc..
Homework will be assigned on Thursday, to be turned in to your TA
on Friday the following week.
Homework will contain instructions for reading. Make sure
you do the reading before the class for which it is assigned.
I will assume
you have done so.

- Midterm Exam: Wednesday, October 28, 2009, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm, in

- Final Exam: Tuesday, December 22, 2009, 9:00am - 11:00am, Room to be announced (tentative)
Grading notes: At the end of the semester, everyone who
has not withdrawn from the class will get a grade. Incompletes will not
be given to avoid F's.
LATE WORK (homework, etc..) will NOT be accepted.
