I am an applied mathematician working as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania. I am interested in signal processing, dynamics, and applications of topology.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (2002) and a Master's degree in Mathematics (2003) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. From that time, I have worked on projects involving radio propagation and network planning, bistatic radar processing, and advanced radar simulation. In 2008, I earned a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Cornell University in which I developed topological methods for studying the dynamics of parabolic equations. My more recent efforts follow an emerging trend of topologically-motivated signal processing techniques. My current projects involve a novel approach for opportunistic and distributed imaging, structural methods for analyzing asynchronous circuitry based on sheaf theory, and studying integral transforms based on the Euler calculus.
