    Grading:

    Homework assignments: 30%
    2 Midterms: 15% each
    Final Exam: 30%
    Recitation (participation): 10%

    Definitive dates for midterms are:
    Thurs. Oct. 6, 5-7pm
    Tues. Nov. 15, 5-7pm

    Definitive date for the final exam is:
    Fri. Dec. 16, 3-5pm


    Homework Policy:

    Homework will be assigned on Thursday, to be turned in the following Thursday. Turn them in to 4C19 before 5:00 pm.

    No late Homework will be accepted!

    NEW DETAILS:

    The two lowest homework scores will be dropped at the end of the semester.

    Please write your name and recitation number on your homework (e.g. math 104-266, not 007).
    Hand in work that you would be proud to show to somebody else. In particular, don't use the final copy as scratch paper.
    If you want to do a problem for the first time on the final copy then use a pencil.
    If I cannot follow your reasoning, then you won't get credit. Be as clear as possible. Explain why you are doing what you are doing.
