Grading Policy and Exam Dates

There three 80 min exams and 2 40 min exams. You do not have to hand in homework. However, each exam will be primarily based on the homework so if you have done the homework you should do wellon the exams. No calculators will be allowed during the exams. You may bring one page of note (8.5 x 11) both sides.

Rules regarding exam and missed exams. There will be a make up exam for the final exam. For all the exams there will be no make up exam. If you have a valid reason for missing an exam you will receive the adjusted grade you get on the final for that exam. (Adjusted means taking into account the variation in scores from exam to exam).

You will get your exams back in class. If you think your exam has not been graded correctly you should bring it to me after class. DO NOT WRITE ON YOUR EXAM. Once you have had the exam in your posession outside of class or if you have written on your exam you no longer can have your exam regraded. For example, if a friend picks up your exam for you, you forfeit the right to have your exam regraded.

Your course grade will be computed as follows:

There will be no calculators allowed. You may have one 8.5 by 11 inch page of notes, both sides. The exam will cover all the material in the syllabus as stated in the Calculus Lab Manual.
