| Homework: | Homework assignments will be posted on the web site every Thursday. They will not be collected, but answers will be posted on the following Thursday. You are responsible for checking your work and getting help on problems you don't understand. |
| Quizzes: | Three-question quizzes based on homework assignments will be given out weekly in recitation. At least one quiz problem will be exactly the same as a randomly selected homework problem. |
| Midterms: |
Three midterms will be given.
Calculators will not be allowed, but a one-page, double-sided, handwritten formula sheet will be permitted. Questions will be long answer. |
| Final Exam: |
Thurs., Dec. 18, 1:30-3:30 pm.
It will be cumulative and will have both multiple choice and long answer questions. Same rules as for midterms. |
| Grading: | 10% quizzes and participation, 20% each midterm, 30% final exam. |
| No makeups will be given for missed quizzes, but the lowest two quiz scores will be dropped. |
