	(Note: although there is technically only one recitation for each student, it is recommended that you attend both as this course is very demanding.)
Textbook:	Marsden-Hoffman, Elementary Classical Analysis
Homework:	Homework assignments will be posted on the web every Friday, and will be due in lecture the next Friday. Homework will be returned in Monday's recitation and discussed there. Late homework will not be accepted under any circumstances, but the lowest two will be dropped. You may work in groups, but you must write the names of all people in your group on your own assignment or you will not get credit for it.
Midterms:	Two closed-book midterms will be given in lecture:
	Mon., Oct. 7 and Mon., Nov. 18
Final Exam:	Mon., Dec. 16, 11:00-1:00 pm.
Grading:	20% homework, 25% each midterm, 30% final exam.
Schedule:	The tentative goal is to cover almost all of Marsden-Hoffman up to the end of Chapter 4.
