About Me
I am a fifth-year PhD student at Penn working under Prof. Ron
Donagi. I am graduating this year. Next year, I will be starting an NSF Postdoc at Cambridge under Prof. Mark Gross.
I did my undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia.
While there, I participated in the VIGRE Algebra and Algebraic Geometry groups
and wrote a thesis under Prof. Elham Izadi on Quiver Grassmannians.
My primary research interests are in algebraic geometry, namely
Calabi-Yau varieties and mirror symmetry. I spend a lot of time
thinking about mirror constructions. One of the things I love
about this field is that there is a wide variety of
techniques/tools/subjects that are at work in mirror
symmetry.
