General Policies
The general policies for this class are discribed in details in Prof.Pop's website, see under "Evaluation". Since participation is counted in your evaluation, I'll try to creat opportunities during recitation when you can ask/answer questions and come up board to do some problem. (When you volunteer, make sure I record your name! )
Your homework grade consists of two parts: 3 points for correctness and 2 points for completion. By completion I mean all the core problems as listed in the syllabus and 50% of the additional problems under each section that you find interesting. The due dates are also listed under the link to the additional problems. Please write your section number on your homework and put them in my mail box in 4W2 before 5:00pm of the due date. (After 5:00pm the math office will close. Then you may step in my office or leave it on my door.)
You are always welcome to ask questions in recitations or office hours, and I'll appreciate it if you will email me the question numbers one day ahead, if possible.
