A standard approach to path-integrals in quantum field theory is to discretize the space-time and replace the path-integral by a finite-dimensional integral, or even a finite sum. In the case of fermionic systems, any correct discretization should involve a discrete analog of spin structure. I will explain how this is accomplished in 2d and 3d systems. Bosonization of lattice fermionic systems will also be discussed.
