Today's talk will re-introduce L-infinity algebras, but from a different perspective, more suitable for describing  their morphisms.

The relation to physics is via differential forms with values in an L-infinity algebra, including `higher' connections and curvatures.

 Most recently, there have been applications of Homotopy Transfer and 

 Homotopy Perturbation Theory. 

Some intriguing open problems will be discussed.
