In this talk, we will cover obstruction theory for real vector bundles over CW complexes. We will introduce the primary obstruction classes for such a bundle, and relate them to the Stiefel-Whitney classes and the Euler class (in the oriented case). To do so, we will need to review cohomology with local coefficients, the Gysin sequence, and the oriented universal rank n vector bundle.  I will give a brief summary of what I covered last week so as to make this talk self-contained.
