David Rittenhouse Lab and Location

DRL is named after early American mathematician, astronomer, and inventor David Rittenhouse (1732-1796), after whom Philadelphia's Rittenhouse Square was also named. For a discussion of his mathematical work, see this recent article in the Notices of the AMS.
