COURSE REQUIREMENTS: Your grade for the course will be based on


QUIZZES: Each week there will be one or two short quizzes based on the homework assignment for the week. There will be no make up quizzes; however, you will be allowed to drop your lowest two quiz grades. The quiz will be given at the end of the period. For each quiz, you can prepare one 8.5 by 11 sheet of paper (one side) with handwrittennotes of your choice.


HOMEWORK AND COMPUTER ASSIGNMENTS: Each assignment will consist of the relevant core problems, problems from past final exams, plus additional work from the text or other sources.

For each exam, you can prepare two 8.5 by 11 sheets of paper (both sides) with handwritten notes of your choice.
