March 7-10, 1997
Celebration of Jerry's 60th Birthday
There was music in the streets
And in the bars
The Birthday Parade was beyond belief.
There was wonderful food at
, Cafe Du Monde,
the Acme Oyster House
and, really, everywhere.
I had wanted a night in the Lincoln bedroom for my birthday but settled for brunch at the Reagan table in Commander's Palace.
The plaque reads:
"President Ronald Reagan dined
at Commander's Palace at this table
March 16th, 1992"
But it was fun just "hangin' out in the Big Easy"
I received a print of this photograph by George Tice as a present
All in all it was truly a memorable event
