Problem Sets for Math 503, Spring 2018

There were 14 problem sets in Math 503, including two sample exams. Each student's lowest grade is dropped. The two exams together count the same amount as the homeworks (collectively) toward the course grade. (A portion of the course grade is based on participation in class and lab.)

Most of the class had high grades on the problem sets. The bottom scores in the top quartile, second quartile, and third quartile (expressed in percents) were 98, 95 (median), and 89. To give an idea of how to interpret the numerical grades, scores of 92 and above can be viewed as in the A range (from A- to A+) and those between 81 and 91 can be viewed as in the B range (from B- to B+).

Individual grade information is available on Canvas.
