Course : Functions of several variables, vector-valued functions, partial derivatives and applications, double and triple integrals, conic sections, polar coordinates, vectors and vector calculus. Applications to physical sciences.

Midterm exams There will be three midterm exams. The first counts for 15% of your grade, the second counts 20%, and the third counts 20%.. The midterms will be given during our normal lecture time; midterm 1 is on Wednesday, September 27 from 11:00-11:55am in DRL A1, midterm 2 is on Wednesday, iNov. 1 from 11-11:55am in DRL A1, and midterm 3 is on Wednesday, November 29, also from 11:00-11:55am in DRL A1. For each midterm you may use one (single-sided, handwritten) 8.5 x 11 sheet of notes. No other notes, books, calculators, cell phones, etc. are allowed.
Final Exam The (comprehensive) final exam will be on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 9am-11am in ???. It will count for 35% of your grade. All sections of Math 114 take the same exam. For the final exam you may use one (two-sided, handwritten) 8.5 x 11 sheet of notes. No other notes, books, calculators, cell phones, etc. are allowed.
