- It is essential that you have the prerequisites for this course! Among other things, you should namely be very familiar with the following:

Basic Rules:

- The final grade is based on four parts: Final exam (30%;), two midterm exams (each 15%), and everything else (40%). Everything else includes regular homework, quizzes (usually during recitations), active participation in the class and recitations.

- Grading Note: At the end of the semester, everyone who has not withdrawn from the class will get a grade. The grade I (incomplete) will not be given in order to avoid the grade F (fail).
