This is the second half of a year long course in algebra. We will
cover the fundamentals on rings and modules, field theory, and Galois
theory. This corresponds more or less to chapters 11, 12, 14, 15, and
16 from Artin's book. A basic goal of the course is to use the
abstract theory to develop an intuition in concrete examples and learn
to understand and produce sound mathematical arguments.
