– Diagnostic Test
This set of problems represents material that should be known prior to taking Math 104. It is expected that you can get at least 10 out of the 20 problems. If you are not sure whether you have enough background, please talk to me in the first week of the course.
The diagnostic test will not be considered in your final grade.
– Exams
The first midterm exam will be on July 14th, Thursday. The location is 2C8, DRLB and the time is 10:00am-12:00noon.
Here are two practice midterms: practice midterm 1, practice midterm 2 and both of them contain answer keys. For practice midterm 2 we only need to do problems 1-7.
The pictures will be given for volume problems in our midterm.

The final exam will be on August 11, Thursday. The location is 2C8, DRLB and the time is 10:00am-12:00noon. The final exam is cumulative an it will include § 10.1-§ 10.4, which we will go over next week. Nevertheless, it will be mostly on Chapter 8 and Chapter 12.
