We proved the Tate conjecture for certain concrete family of elliptic surfaces over Q. This is joint work with Lian Duan. I will begin with an introduction to the Tate conjecture and the Fontaine-Mazur conjecture. Then I will try to explain the main idea of our proof and do some basic computations.
