I hope to give a sketch of the proof of Noether’s Theorem in the generality of smooth manifolds and show how it manifests in physics as the following fact: For a mechanical system invariant under a symmetry, there exists a conversed quantity. I also hope to give some neat explanations for some physical phenomena exhibiting conserved quantities.
