In this talk, we will discuss topological and geometric constraints on metrics with bounded Ricci curvature on a 4-manifold. One motivation is to check if there are only finitely many diffeomorphism types of 4-manifolds with bounded Ricci curvature and Euler number. The main tools are Ricci flow and the one in my previous work with J. Cheeger.
