About ten years ago, Eudav-Munoz described unions of prime tangles that could be unknotted with a single crossing change. We show that these are the only such examples. Combined with earlier results, this classifies all hyperbolic knots in the 3-sphere which admit a non-integral toroidal Dehn surgery.
