Lida Barrett, UPenn PhD in Mathematics 1954  (supervised by J.R. Kline), passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021.  She was the second female president of the MAA where she sought to increase minority membership and involvement in the MAA and within the mathematics community. .  She received the MAA's Yueh-Gin Gung and Dr. Charles Y.
