From the title one might surmise that we will be talking about differential forms. However, from the point of view of differential topology I’d like to make an argument that there is a more fundamental object: bordism (shock and horror!!!) I would like to describe the intimate interaction between geometric questions and stable homotopy theory (why someone who likes manifolds should care).
